Resilience, revisited

See the Wednesday, Feb 22, 2012 issue of the Bellingham Herald -- "Darigold output reduced after fire"...at the plant. At the time of reporting, the plant was running at 60% capacity (it typically converts about 4 million pounds of fluid milk into powder (mostly for export) each day). Resilience is about adaptive capacity and fall-back systems. Food for thought, as managers elsewhere ramped up for the additional processing supply.
